Week 6 - I HATE PIZZA!!!

Pounds Lost: 0
Total Pounds Lost: 11
Pounds to go: 13.5

Confession

Pizza again!!! The applicants for the program had interviews on Monday and Friday and we had to attend part of the process to talk up the program. Of course, they had tons of Brick Oven pizza for everyone. I tried Michelle's technique of eating two pieces, waiting 20 minutes, and then deciding if I wanted more. I ate two pieces, waited about 30 seconds, saw how many people were taking slices of the good pizzas, and caved in both times.

Before I was rewarding myself with 1 or 2 meals when I could eat anything I wanted. Those 1 to 2 meals have turned into a weekend smorgousbourg! I really need to get back on track.

What Worked

Keeping busy. The days that were packed full of stuff to do last week really helped me to focus less on food and stick to my plan. I think this week should be good because I have a lot to do.

Goals

Limit myself to 1 or 2 splurge meals. I also need to continue to drink water....winter is making that hard to do. I want to lose 2 lbs this week.

Good luck everyone!

That's great, you didn't gain any weight back! If I splurge at all I gain right away. Pizza is really hard to resist, especially when you are hungry! Maybe the parties are over for a while, huh? Good luck with the water, and have a good week!

If it helps any, Sweetie, I think I am thoroughly getting sick of pizza(but maybe that's because we only had the frozen kind at home). You're still doing great in a lot of ways! Hey, and if all else fails, just eat what Allison does on Breakfast Club...mmmm, crunchy!

Oh and thanks for my "beefed-up breakfast plan." Even if I don't gain weight from it, I will still thoroughly enjoy it.

i agree with mom - at least you didn't undo the work you've done!! that is a victory in and of itself. you made me laugh with your pizza cave-in...that's pretty much how i predicted it would go for myself if i was with a group of people! ha. especially if it's pizza from the B.O.!!

i like your idea of a splurge meal. it definitely makes you feel like you can be human if you can enjoy something once in a while. ONCE IN A WHILE! good luck this week...i think we're all going to do really well.
